Short-Circuit Cable Rating

The Short-Circuit Cable Rating module calculates the final temperature that the cable will reach during the short circuit. Another calculation that can be made with this module is the calculation of the maximum short circuit current that the cable can withstand.

The method is implemented according to the IEC 60949 © Standard. Thermal damage curve of the cable can be obtained with this module.
